Two or more applicants may apply for citizenship together by investing in one piece of real estate, provided that each main applicant contributes the minimum investment of US$ 200,000 in real estate worth a minimum of US$400,000. This real estate can be re-sold 7 years after the purchase and may not qualify the next buyer for citizenship. Applications for CBI cannot be lodged directly at the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit, instead it can only be handled by registered Authorized Persons.
