Basseterre, St. Kitts — In a bold move to modernize border security and enhance global travel convenience, St. Kitts and Nevis has introduced a new generation of high-technology passports as part of its Fourth Generation Border Management System. This development underscores the twin-island Federation’s commitment to maintaining its global reputation as a leader in secure travel documentation.
The new passport, launched in November 2024, boasts advanced security features designed to thwart forgery, facilitate streamlined border crossings, and bolster national security. This rollout is accompanied by updates to the application process, aligning with the latest international standards for secure documentation.

The high-tech passport integrates state-of-the-art anti-counterfeit technology, including embedded biometric data and machine-readable elements.
